Laura meets the doctor in the 3rd story of series 1 called leakage she works at the CIA in 2015 and came back to the moon way back in the past to find out why there's water on it. On the moon she is with 2 coworkers Kaitlin and The Captain and was originally going to go back to modern day with them but she then meets the Doctor and Kerry and travels with them insted.

Laura is brave, inderpendent and smart because of her training at the CIA. Due to her been so smart Kerry soon gets slightly jelous as it seems the Doctor starts to favorite her.

Laura is diffrent to the 13th Doctor and Kerry she is more jolly and sees the good in the universe insted of the bad, shes baciclly a optimistic, unlike The Doctor and Kerry who are not quite pessimistic but are in the middle.
